1. Introduction
This document has been written to ensure optimum performance throughout the duration of the project with
regard to the maintenance of an effective Environment, Health and Safety Management System. The purpose
of the plan is to ensure that all aspects of Environment Health and Safety are considered through each stage
of the project, ensuring that any potential environmental impact(s) are considered and controlled, and that any
potential impact(s) to the Health and Safety of people affected by the project are considered and controlled.
This document has been written to reflect the requirements of the current Kingdom of Thailand Regulations,
Consortium partner’s EHS Management System and Contract requirements. It shall form part of the contract
with all parties engaged on the Project. Deviations from the requirements of this EHS plan will only be
permitted by written consent of Site Manager.
The plan also addresses the applicable requirements of the international standards ISO 14001:2004 -
Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety Management
Systems.
This plan is supported by work instructions and guidelines which shall be issued as controlled documents to all
parties engaged on the project in accordance with the agreed document control protocols on the project.
Wherever local regulatory requirements are more stringent than the content of this EHS plan or any other
related standard EHS documentation, then these requirements shall prevail, be fully enforced and relevant site
EHS documentation shall be amended in accordance.
This EHS plan shall be reviewed every 6 months as a minimum or whenever required due to change such as
change of EHS policy, EHS requirements (regulatory, contractual or standard EHS requirements), phase of
the project (Civil M&E Cold Commissioning Hot Commissioning).
Such changes shall be discussed and agreed by all parties during the Site EHS Committee meeting.
