“Hydroponic” is the science of growing plants without soil and still using chemical fertilizer. (Harris,1966). While the method of growing plant without chemical fertilizer was known as organics agriculture.Nowadays the organicagriculture product is need by consumers in the marketplace. However, organic farming has a low environmental impact on the Earth, and this is an important point from a philosophical view. Although hydroponic system could reuse the nutrient solution, the hydroponic method is not equal to organic in these terms. Many growers would like to apply organic to fertilizer in
hydroponics system. Currently accepted organic fertilizer components are dependent upon organisms in the soil to convert the "organic" materials into a useable form for plants grown in hydroponic. Which liquid bio-extract fertilizers or organic fertilizers are derived from natural materials (Barker, 1937). Therefore, this research was aimed to study the effects of liquid bio-extract fertilizer derived from plants and animals as nutrient source on growth of green oak lettuce grown in hydroponics system for substituted chemical fertilizers and provide guideline for organics hydroponics production.
