provide a better understanding of the anomalous nature of
faculty collective bargaining within Florida public higher
education.
1. Do faculty members at The Florida State University
and the University of Florida exercise more authority
over academic, personnel, and administrative decisions than
do faculty members at the University of South Florida, the
University of Central Florida, and in selected Florida
public community colleges?
2. Do faculty members at the University of South
Florida exercise more authority over academic, personnel,
and administrative decisions than do faculty members at
the University of Central Florida and in selected Florida
public community colleges?
3. Do faculty members at the University of Central
Florida exercise more authority over academic, personnel,
and administrative decisions than do faculty members in
selected Florida public community colleges?
4. Do faculty members in selected Florida public
community colleges which have never formally voted on
faculty unionization exercise more authority over academic,
personnel, and administrative decisions than do faculty
members in selected Florida public community colleges which
have formally voted on faculty unionization?
