Hospital Emergency Rooms
Visiting an emergency room is very expensive! ONLY go to the emergency room if you have a life-threatening
illness or accident. Examples of when you should go to the emergency room include: loss of consciousness,
intolerable/uncontrollable pain, severe shortage of breath, chest pain, poisoning, major injury, severe reaction to
insect bite/sting/medication, or unexplained drowsiness/disorientation. If it is not an emergency, Lewer will not
pay for your visit. Do NOT use emergency rooms for routine medical care.
