The primary efficacy measurement was the change of PANSS total
score from baseline to the endpoint. The secondary efficacy measurement
included change of total PANSS score from baseline to weeks 1,
2 and 4. The secondary measures also included the mean change of
the PANSS positive, negative, general psychopathology subscale scores,
CGI-S score from baseline to the endpoint, and the number and the percentage
of responders (subjects with at least a 30% decrease of PANSS
total score at end point compared with baseline).
