After reviewing the selected Web sites, we summarized our results in the table shown in Figure 4.1. While these findings aren’t the ultimate litmus test for solution-centricity, they provide a good overall indicator as to how many companies think about what it means to offer solutions. We’re reasonably confident that if we were to explore another 100, 500, or 1,000 Web sites, we would see a similar pattern, and the observed pattern tends to suggest the following:
