Mobilizing and Managing Resources
Overview
After we have come up with an action plan and know what we have to do to achieve the goals set for our CLC, we discover that we need certain resources to put our plan into action. What kinds of resources do we need? Where do we find them? How do we obtain them? And, finally, what must we do to use these resources efficiently and effectively?
The purpose of mobilising and managing resources is to ensure that the activities in the action plan are successfully completed, resulting in the outcomes that we want for our CLC.
in order to systematically implement community initiated programmes or projects, we need to identify, collect, prioritise and utilise the best available resources.
The following sections will give us some ideas about how to do these things:
section one What resources can we mobilise?
section two How can we mobilise local resources?
section three How can we mobilise external resources?
section four How can we manage the available resources?
