We refer to Kittiya NPL indication below. We check her leave entitlement. She has 8.5 days annual leave till December year end. Even if we were to allow her to take pro-rated leave till mid year June. She still have 4-days.
Therefore Kittiya should apply annual leave rather than no pay leave. Our policy is to use up all annual leave, if no more annual leave, then have to apply no pay leave subject to maximum 10-days per year with very good reason.
Only in the case of absence without notice then company shall record as NPL to deduct pay as it was not approved leave. In this case, company will take this seriously and monitor the record. My last trip to AUT did mentioned all staff have to inform company HOD, HR representative before 9am if they can not come to work ? If no show and no call, we will than consider absence ?
