The total phenolic contents of the SIGM, SEGM, HEGM and CIM
samples were 389.33, 616.02, 1232.33, and 266.62 mg of gallic acid equivalents (GAE) L1 respectively (Fig. 2). Hair goat milk samples
had the highest total phenolic content, whereas cow milk had the
lowest total phenolic content. The results showed that the feeding
conditions and different breeds had a significant influence on the
total phenolic compound content (p < 0.05). Feeding differences
could be explained by a combined effect of the phenolic stage of the
grass and selection of grass by the Hair goats.
