If a terminal successfully sends a reservation packet in a frame,
it joins the reservation queue in the base station. During the uplink
and downlink data subframes of the frame, the base station
allocates data slots of the subsequent uplink data subframes to
the terminals which have joined the reservation queue in the
frame and then sends channel allocation packets in the downlink
control subframe of the frame. The queue discipline used
for the reservation queue is FIFO according to the order in which
reservation packets are received. The base station allocates data
slots to the terminals on the basis of the requested number contained
in reservation packets. If the base station uses up all data
slots of an uplink data subframe in the allocation, it can allocate
data slots in the subsequent uplink data subframes.
