Commonly practiced method is to burn the rice straw, resulting in air
pollution. The effect on the environment and destroy the fertility of soil, thus modifying the
method of decomposing rice straw instead. Therefore, it is an important reason for the proposed
project in the development of cellulolytic microorganisms to degradation of rice straw in paddy
fields. In order to further the knowledge in the community and knowledge science to help develop
careers, improve quality of lives of the farmers in the community. The main objectives of this
research were to isolate and screen of cellulolytic microorganisms from decay wood, livestock
manure and composting rice straw to produce and evaluate community products for digesting and
crumbling rice straw in paddy field.
