How was it made?
The Great Pyramid, one of the wonders of the world, has more than 2 million blocks. Many of them are huge. Some are as heavy as five school buses! Although they were heavy, workers put a block into the pyramid every three minutes.
The workers, Eayptian men and women, worked in teams. The teams had different jobs. Some dug up the stones. The last group put the stones into the pyramid.
Even though there were so many different teams, the pyramid is perfect. No stone is in the wrong place. But how did the Egyptians move those huge stones to the top? No one knows for sure. Some things are still a mystery.
