Despite various studies on the effects of CPD, no study on this issue was found in our
country. In this study, a new program containing CPD Model was prepared to support Science
and Technology teachers in using the Project-Based Instruction (PBI) and its effects on
meeting the needs of teachers were investigated. Within the framework of these issues, it is
tried to find answers for the following problems:
What are the needs of Science and Technology Teachers related to PBI?
To what extent did support program developed for the enacting of PBI according to
the CPD meet the need of Science and Technology Teachers?
