Articles on loan to guests are adapters, vases, scissors and transformer. There will be a minimal charge incurred for all items.
1. Guest will call housekeeping and request for a loan item

2. Call will be recorded in the HK logbook.

3. Room controller/Clerk will fill in the “article on loan to guest” form in triplicate.
4. Send the loan item to guest with the form.
5. The guest is requested to sign the form and the item for loan is then given to guest together with the first copy of the form for his retention.
6. The second copy must be send to the front office to be posted to guest folio and the third copy is for housekeeping file.
7. All items on loan must be recorded in the evening report and room valet’s report.
8. Upon check out guest must return the loan item with the form to Front office and the associate must sign the returned receipt on the form.
9. If the item is return to HK, staff has to sign on the return receipt and send the acknowledgement to front office.
10. Front office must not rebate the charge amount without any returned receipt. This must be strictly adhered to avoid loss of hotel property.
11. HK must ensure on the follow-up that all loan items are retrieved from front office daily and up-date in the HK file.
