Besides the eye and the clouded lens capsule (the cataract), the
other main component of the simulator are the different tools used
to perform the surgery. The tools will replace the haptic cursor
inside the simulation and they must react appropriately to the
user’s movements. Although we modelled each one of the tools
involved during the surgery, making a total of twelve tools, we are
going to show only two of them in this work due to space reasons.
