A descriptive analysis of the farmers’ subjective choice ofstrategies for the implementation of nutrients reduction measuresreveals that the respondents are more supportive of the “vol-untary”, “subsidy” and “information dissemination” options with76%, 55% and 67% respectively. A comparison of respondents’ levelof support for government strategies of implementing the meas-ures, with their current level of adoption of voluntary technologiesshows that 62% and 55% of the respondents, who have adoptedat least one voluntary technology are in favor of “voluntary” and“information dissemination” strategies respectively. Likewise, 52%of these respondents indicate opposition to the use for fines onnon-compliance with the set pollution reduction regulations. Theoverall summary is presented in Table 5.
