The third day was a day packed with more learning. The morning was the time for the tandem speakers Ms. Lyland Alda and Vanessa Leigh Oclarit. The first part of the lecture focused on the powerful strategy of using Collaborative Strategic Reading technique, which is being proposed for use in the delegates’ school in Thailand. The educators vibrantly engaged in critic and analysis of the given proposal. On a lighter note, the discussion moved on to the qualities of an efficient versus an effective teacher. The brainstorming led the educators to practical and experience wise summary of qualities but things turned dramatic as some of their students back in Thailand paid tribute to the educators through written messages and video messages. The highlight was a tribute to the soon retiring teacher who was one of the delegates.
