The flocculation experiments on C. vulgaris culture broth were
carried out in 250 ml beakers. The flocculant, flocculants mixture
or flocculated biomass were added in varied concentrations. After
the addition, the test sample was stirred at 200 rpm during
1 min and then left for sedimentation at room temperature. Each
experiment had a control without flocculant. All experiments were
performed in triplicate
