[10] compared the plasma clearance (CL) of BCAAs in control subjects
and patients with cirrhosis, and Herman [11] demonstrated
that adipose tissue BCAAs metabolism could modulate circulating
BCAAs levels in mice. Nevertheless, no pharmacokinetic studies
have been performed to determine BCAAs pharmacokinetic profiles
following oral administration, which are useful to evaluate efficacy
as well as the safety [8].
