Temperature rise
[Comments]
1) Although the maximum limit for the operating temperature of cables is specified, the temperature of the cables sometimes exceeds this limit due to changes in the operating environment. For this reason, products shall be designed with sufficient leeway.
2) In particular, the temperature of wiring materials of nearby heating elements may rise depending on the accumulation of dust, the contact status with the heating elements and other factors. For this reason, attention shall also be paid to the changes occurring over the passage of time.
3) Precautions with regard to the temperature rise of a stalled motor.
a) Even with a design which maintains the upper temperature limit for the motor windings, the materials, brackets and other such parts that hold the motor in place may melt, causing the motor to drop. Therefore, when resin is to be used to hold the motor, due attention shall be paid to the correlation between the heat-resistance temperature of the resin and the upper limit of the winding temperature when the motor is stalled.
