There are ways that may improve initiation and maintenance of sleep, we call these sleep hygiene (Medicalnewstoday, 2013). An example of sleep hygiene is simply sleeping as much as possible; getting the most out of sleep is healthy for the brain. Another would be maintaining a regular sleep schedule because it can allow the brain to obtain a fixed cycle. Lastly, one must hinder self from force-sleeping because it may irritate or stress out your mind.
