Job Responsibilities
Plan and develop the overall channel and merchandising strategy and provide the subsequent channel and merchandising plan, which meets the objectives of the national trade marketing and distribution plan and is in line with brand strategy and the needs of the trade.
Liaise with the Strategic Accounts Manager in the formulation of the channel strategic account strategy and objectives with the purpose of developing and managing the key trade customers in order to maximize volume and share performance, which meets the objectives of the channel plan, and in line with brand strategy and needs of the account.
Evaluate trade channel (Cycle) and strategic accounts performance in order to provide recommendations and solutions to further enhance trade marketing performance.
Provide trade channel and distribution information and reports on channel and strategic accounts performance to ensure that the Head of Marketing, Head of Sales & Distribution and the Head of Innovation team are fully informed at all times.
Ensure that Sales and Branch Managers are fully informed at all times of objectives, progress and future action plan via specific Cycle instructions, in order that effective planning and in-market activities can be implemented.
Develop national channel presence marketing and promotion programme which reflect trade merchandising policies by outlet type in order to achieve the highest in-store visibility and sales performance of the key strategic brands, and successfully meet the overall objective of increasing “selling-out”.
