at constant conditions will eventually reach the
equilibrium moisture contents shown in Table 6.
In practice, the relative humidity and temperature
of ambient air vary throughout the day, and the
final moisture content will be a function of the
average conditions of the air. For example, during
daytime hours with a full sun, suppose the
temperature and relative humidity of the air
reached 90 F and 50 percent humidity. Under
these conditions, the wheat would eventually dry
to a final moisture content of about 10.8 percent.
