Given the considerable expense of accruing “Paid Time Off,” (PTO) and in an attempt to get our expense in line with current business levels we need to ensure all employees PTO accruals are below 40 hours (five working days) by the end of September, and zero by FY15 year end. At this time, and until further notice the practice of carrying over days into the next FY, maximum of twenty days, will not be permitted, meaning, it’s a case of taking your “total” FY15 vacation entitlement by YE or, losing it…! As per previous directives the practice of paying employees, at any level within the organization, in lieu of taking vacation days is strictly against company directives and will only be acceptable, subject to my approval, in cases of resignation/termination.
