Looking ahead to 2016, the company is actively pursuing new partnerships with other lifestyle brands. Starting next month its flowers will be available at a permanent pop-up store in New York City’s Urban Space. Thus far, Frederique’s Choice has teamed up with on-demand lodging service onefinestay to bring flowers to guests during their reservation as well as Halstead Property, a real estate firm that gifts the company’s bouquets to their clients. The flower company has also built relationships within the fashion industry. Before Thanksgiving, Frederique’s Choice opened a pop-up shop in Anthropologie stores around New York City. During Fashion Week this past fall, van der Wal returned to the runway with bouquets in hand: her company supplied flowers for the presentation of designer Nicholas K’s spring 2016 collection. Frederique’s Choice is already planning for the boom of blossom demand coming this Valentine’s Day.
