Median Motor Nerve Latency The distal median motor latency was measured with the Nervepace 100
portable electroneurometer (Neurotron Medical, Lawrenceville, NJ) from the wrist to the abductor pollicis brevis (8 cm). Electrical stimulation was applied with a hand-held probe and recorded with surface electrodes taped over the abductor
pollicis brevis. The latency was recorded as the time in msec from stimulation to a 10 mV threshold of the compound muscle action potential.
