The effect of monomer loading from 30 to 50 g on the thermal
properties of the resultant SA-RPESO polymers was studied.
The results are summarized in Table 3. It can be seen that the SARPESO
polymer obtained from a higher monomer concentration
shows slightly higher Tg. The reasoning for this trend is that increasing
monomer concentration will reduce the molecular weight of
the formed polymer due to termination rate increases. However,
at a higher monomer concentration, the polymer formed would
have relatively higher crosslink density. The polymers with higher
