Although I. indigotica siliculas are abundantly produced, they have not yet been fully characterized and commercially explored. In order to investigate the potential use of the seeds of this species in non food applications, four I. indigotica accessions cultivated under Mediterranean climate, were evaluated for: (i) vegetative and reproductive phenology and biometric characteristics; (ii) siliculas and seed yields; (iii) seed oil content and fatty acid composition; (iv) GL profile and content of the seed.
