In this paper, we describe a combination of the NT and bio- barcode approaches for a highly amplified, nanoparticle-based, bio-barcoded electrochemical biosensor.
The biosensor is designed for the rapid detection of pagA gene of Bacillus anthracis (a well-known bio-terrorism agent) and insertion element (Iel) gene from Salmonella enteritidis (one of the most common foodborne pathogens).
