In the water culture experiment, we found that there was a particularly close connection between P content and the growth rate of plant by comparing the size of cucumber leaves, shoots and roots length under different conditions. This is because both inorganic and organic insoluble phosphates could be transformed into available P by T. asperellum
___________________!_______________________ _____ by cucumber seedlings along with an increase in their own salt stress tolerance. This study also revealed the effect of phytohormone in
plant resistance to environmental stress. It was documented that pre-sowing wheat seeds with plant growth regulators auxin, gibberellins could suppress the adverse growth effect
of salt stress (Sastry and Shekhawa 2001; Afzal et al. 2005). Without any inducer, T. asperellum Q1 showed the ability to produce IAA, GA and ABA both in the presence and absence of NaCl, and the levels of endogenous phytohormones (IAA, GA and ABA) in cucumber leaves were also
changed correspondingly, as demonstrated by the results of our pot experiments.
