On May 26 (Day 0) about 40 bulbils (350–400 mg) per plant were
harvested from the middle of the stem (2/3 position of the stem).
Bulbils were packed in peat moss and received the following three
pre-potting treatments: SEQ CD of 20 days each at 5–20–5 ◦C, 40
days at 20 ◦C followed by 20 days at 5◦C (CON 20 CD), and 20 days at
20 ◦C followed by 40 days at 5 ◦C (CON 40 CD). After the pre-planting
storage treatments, bulbils were planted in pots filled with a growing
medium, and pots were placed in growth chambers maintained
at a constant 10 or 15 ◦C for 15 days for post-potting treatments of
bulbils, and then moved to the greenhouse.
