This decrease can
be attributed to fewer active sites available, i.e., binding sites
competitively are divided among metals present in the solution
(Sharma et al., 2007), which was observed by the same author
in studies using seeds of Moringa oleifera Lam. in a ternary
solution containing Cd, Cr and Ni, whose adsorption values
decreased by about 10 to 20% compared to the adsorption using
a monoelementar solution.
