Shazam has a minimalist interface. You just have to click the blue button on the screen to identify the music that’s playing around you. This feature is called tagging. If you’re offline, Shazam will save the song and try to find it when you become online. SoundHound too lets you search for a song by saving it when you’re offline. However, the difference lies in what happens when you reconnect. When you become online, Shazam will automatically search for the song and notify you, while SoundHound will require you to manually select the saved tag to identify it.
