that there were different optimum conditions of briquetting
for each biomass material. Briquette samples produced with
cylindrical die are shown in Fig. 3a. Typical sizes of cylindrical
briquettes were 55 mm (diameter) and 45 mm (height) and
their weight were approximately 65 g. Densities of cylindrical
briquettes were ranged from 600 to 840 kg/m
3
depending on
the combination of moisture content and pressure.
