Due to work at the massage shop, to earn money to support her children, Pornfah was not able to do much sightseeing with me. Also, Pornfah was also shy, because of the language and cultural differences.
On three or four mornings we walked a couple of kilometres to a Temple. We needed to return for her to open the massage shop at 9am.
We spent one day at the Kings Palace. We travelled by boat and taxi with my friend Micheal and a friend of Pornfah’s friend nicknamed Lucky. Lucky has studied English at University and can communicate quite well.
We went shopping and had lunch in Bang Kapi at the Mall and Big C on different occasions.
Porfah and I went to dinner at a restaurant three times. Her lovely friend Lucky came with us on the first occasion. I often gave Pornfah some money to buy some street-food for us to share. On one occasion I bought ice cream for the three ladies who worked at the Mali Massage shop, and Lucky, who sold drinks outside the Massage shop. The ice creams were very nice.
Pornfah and I agreed to keep in touch after I returned to Australia. We agreed to be boyfriend and girlfriend, and not have other partners. I bought a Samsung Smart Phone for Pornfah, so we could keep in touch regularly.
Even though we are a long distance apart, internet and telephone communications, keep us in contact, and emotionally very close. We have never been emotionally separated despite the distance of 7500 kilometres between Australia and Thailand.
