Research objectives
Stop Smoking Wales have faced gaps in their knowledge that would support their
marketing decision-making for the new upcoming campaign in Wales, which aims at
reducing the number of smokers and communicating the drawbacks of smoking litter
to the public. The gaps for the focus of this research are discovered and were sent to
us in the marketing research brief by Stop Smoking Wales. By studying the marketing
research brief, we have clearly stated the research’s objectives below:
1. Identify the profiles of smokers.
2. Investigate smoking levels.
3. Discover behaviour of smokers.
4. Explore motivations to smoke and to quit.
