The hypothesis of this study is that supplementation of xylanase
in corn-soybean meal based diets reduces digesta viscosity and
thus enhances digestibility of nutrients. The objective of this study
is to measure viscosity of jejunum digesta, intestinal morphology,
and ileal digestibility of dry matter (DM), energy, acid detergent
fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and crude ash of a cornsoybean
meal based diet supplemented with xylanase fed to pigs.
