In recent decades, there have been growing demands in highthroughput and low-cost fabrication techniques to create uniform nanostructures. In particular, since the discovery of optical transmissions enhancement, there is a great interest in an easy processing technique capable of creating ordered nano-holes. On account of high uniformity and tunability of these nanostructures, they are commonly exploited in a wide range of applications such as surface plasmonics, photonic devices, data storage, biological and chemical sensors and nano-filtration.
