The questionnaire used to
collect the data was divided into three parts consisting of the
demographic profile, policy knowledge and SEA perception of
key drivers expressed by the individual indicators. The
questionnaire was administered in both English and Malay
and was subject to a pre-test prior to conducting the survey to
ensure that the questionnaire was clear and understandable
to achieve its intended objective. The questionnaire utilized
the indicators within the key driver and sub-drivers to collect
data on the independent variable while the SEA behaviour
intention formed the dependent variable. The interview
questionnaire responses were measured on a ‘Likert’ scale
ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree where
respondents were provided with the opportunity to clarify
and provide feedback due to the face-to-face structured
interview nature of the data collection approach. The final
section of the interview questionnaire consisted of an openended
section for comments from the respondents on general
SEA feedback.
