Two out of three teachers had undergone further education during the past year. For most the amount of further education was 1–5 study days but one in three had studied for more than five days (Table 3).
Nearly half of teachers were acting as members of a research team. Fifteen per cent of teachers were either leading a research project or were leading their own project and a member of another project. However, 40% of nursing teachers were not members of research and development teams.
Teachers could mention all kinds of different publications they had published in. Most teachers (70%) had publications, but 30% did not (Table 3).
