In our opinion, the phenomenon of clinoptilolite cleavage is the main reason of mesoporosity. Clinoptilolite grains are flat long bars parallel to surface and 25–100 nm thick, 200–400 nm wide and 350–1000 nm long. Hence the clinoptilolite grains have latent fine-crystalline structure with the crystal sizes of 50 × 300 × 700 nm on average [9].
