The export growth of 77% YoY and 316% QoQ was partly from the delay of demand from Philippine in 1Q/15 shift to 2Q/15 due to the delay of rain, in addition with the boost of export sales to Africa. The increased in export volume is in line with PMTA’s strategy to boost export volume after the startup of the new granular plant in 1Q/15. While in 2Q/15, thedomestic sales volume of 32,376 tons slightly decreased by 1% YoY from 2Q/14 but increased 19% QoQ from 1Q/15.With the split of 50%domestic to 50% export by volumes in 2Q/15, the revenue breakdownby market was contributed 59% from domestic sales to 41% for export sales. This was due to slightly lower revenue per ton salesfrom exportthan revenue per ton sales from domestic volumes. Therefore, the average revenue per ton sales in 2Q/15 at 15,086.2 Baht/ton sales decreased 1% YoY from 2Q/14 and decreased 9% QoQ from 1Q/15, while raw material cost per ton sales at 11,721.9 Baht/ton sales increased 3% YoY but declined 4% QoQ. Accordingly, the gross profit margin in 2Q/15 reduced to 22%, from 25% and 26% in 2Q/14 and 1Q/15, respectively.
