2.4.7. Dynamic mechanical thermal analysis
Dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA) was performed
with an EPLEXOR® DMA (GABO Qualimeter, Germany) in a tension
mode at a frequency of 1.5 Hz, a static load of 0.5 N and a dynamic
load of 0.15 N. Scanning temperature was from −80 ◦C to 55 ◦C with
a heating rate of 3 ◦C/min. Each sample was cut into a rectangular
shape with a dimension of 10 mm × 50 mm. Grips were used to hold
the sample firmly without causing excessive deformation before
testing. Storage modulus (E
) and tan delta (tan ı) were evaluated.
Three replications were performed for each sample.
