After a glass or 10 I was sobbing. I missed her and I wanted her only, so why the hell do I try to fool myself by trying to move or by trying to sleep with some other woman? My heart rejected anyone else and so did my body. I threw my whiskey glass against the wall in anger and went out to my garden to get some fresh air. I laid down on one of the sun loungers and looked at the sky. I saw a half moon and a few stars were twinkling here and there. I closed my eyes and breathed in the cold night air as my head filled with her thoughts and memories. I wished I could get my memory erased, because I couldn’t live like this anymore.
[Olivia’s POV]
I was happy with my new job at Hoss Intropia, because it kept me occupied. My colleagues were nice and they were happy to have me onboard. I joined an evening class to learn more about image editing, since I hadn’t mastered that skill yet. I kept myself as busy as possible in order not to think about him so I got myself a gym membership too. I thought about him when I laid in bed at night and sometimes I dreamed about him. I wondered how he was doing and if he had moved on. I stopped following football news and anything related to it so I had no clue. I heard that FCB had won the game against Almeria on some radio post though. Adrian and Gia were planning their wedding, which was going to be held next year and I agreed to help them organizing everything. I would be their wedding photographer too of course. “Olivia, wake up!” Juan yelled into my ear. I gasped in shock and shot him a glare. Juan was a colleague of mine and we worked together a lot on projects. “Daydreaming about someone?” he smirked. “No” I said and rolled my eyes. “Still single?” he asked, wiggling his eyebrows. “What is it to you?” I asked. “I might have some single friends” he winked. “You mean yourself?” I asked, sarcastically. “I would never date you” he smirked. “Because I’m out of your league?” I frowned. “No, because you are grumpy” he said.
▶That's Juan in the pic! His real name is Juan Betancourt
