Fig. 5 shows the variation of the simulation results and experimental
results of physical air velocity close to FADS along the length
direction under supply air flow rate of 0.134 m3/s. It can be seen
that the velocity increases slightly along the length direction, and
the speed at the end is higher than that of the front by 11.3%. The
simulation results and measured results of average air physical air
velocity are about 0.114 m/s and 0.117 m/s, for which the relative
error is about 2.0%. Fig. 6 gives the comparison of simulation and experimental results of the total pressure, the static pressure and
the dynamic pressure inside FADS along the length direction. The
corresponding errors of the simulation results and experimental
results of the total pressure and the static pressure are 2.6% and
2.7%, respectively, whichmeetthe experimental requirement. Fig. 7
shows the relation between the total pressure inside FADS and the
supply air flow rate. The errors between the simulation results and
experimental results ofthe total pressure under four supply air flow
rates are 0.04%, 6.3%, 9.7% and 4.3%, respectively
