2.1. Raw material
The cassava starch or CS (AIM TF 113) used in this work
was purchased from Agroindustrial Mandioca C.A., Venezuela
The initial moisture content of CS was 16.8% (dry basis, d.b.,
see method below). All moisture contents given in this work
are expressed on dry basis, unless otherwise stated. Commercial
corn oil (CO) Mazeite® was purchased from a local
supplier.
