Packet delivery ratio is very similar for AODV
and DSDV protocols whereas DSR performs much
worse here. When the average end-to-end delay is
taken into account, AODV is the leading protocol. Its
delay does not increase significantly with the network
size. However, this is not due to the great protocol’s
performance but it is an effect of low packet delivery
ratio. AODV outperforms the other two protocols by
the factor of 3 in the case of DSDV and 10 to 12 in
comparison with DSR. DSR has the worst results in
this test. Also the routing load is the highest in the case
of DSR and for 200 nodes it exceeds the value of
1000.
