A descriptive- analytic method is used to do this research. The descriptive method is used to understand the primary
components effecting on the problem and the scientific analyzing and correlation are used to test the statistic relationship between
the different components. Field studies (questionnaire and elite interview) are the main tools for information collection. So, after
basic studies and determining the principles and features of the safe urban space and considering the related and applied world
novel experience which are adaptable with the cultural conditions of the country, the factors and variable required for security
analyzing, the relation of these factors with the urban security, recognizing and leveling the neighborhoods by vulnerability degree
against disorders are determined in order to improve urban space conditions and security.
The Physical factors effecting on the security of the environment are first considered and tested in this research according to
the previous studies Multi criteria decision making model is the most famous one including different techniques such as ANP,
TOPSIS, AHP. They are wildly used all over the world due to their application. The hierarchical analysis model (AHP) is used in this
research. The incompatibility of each table was calculated for every professor and expert after collecting the questionnaires of pair
comparisons of the factors and sub criteria. The questionnaires with the incompatibility rate more than 1.0 were returned to the
related expert to review it. At the end, they had acceptable incompatibility rates and the average of the people’s opinions was
calculated for each questionnaire. Then, the decision making hierarchy tree was formed in the software Expert Choice according to
the stages of the hierarchy analysis model.
