Comparison with AMWQC water quality standards indicates
that all water parameters in the dry season, except for phosphate
and total suspended solids at Phi Phi and Surin, were below the
standards (i.e. in acceptable condition). Conversely, in the wet season,
all water quality parameters, except dissolved oxygen and nitrite,
were at unacceptable levels (above the standard values),
particularly for phosphate and total suspended solids at Phuket
(Table 3).
