The propose of research was to investigate the trend of characteristics of Thai Teachers in the next decade (B.C. 2019). The research comprised of two steps: first, documentary analysis, analysis and synthesis from documents and research reviews about the context of global society, Thai society, and Thai education in the future, and second, indepth interview from four groups of 20 experts: executives, experienced educators, best practitioners in education, and collaborative group in education. Synthesis of the data was used by content analysis and the conclusion of the characteristics of Thai teachers in the next decade was made by inductive analysis. The findings of the research were as follows: 1. Characteristics of Thai teachers in the next decade should be included into four aspects: 1) professional knowledge and experiences, 2) professional teacher personalities, 3) leadership for educational development , and 4) professional virtues and code of ethics. 2. Professional knowledge and experiences should be included into three aspects: 1) language abilities, 2) computer utilization abilities, and 3) professional teacher abilities. 3. Professional teacher personalities, should be included six Qs: 1) Health quotients (HQ), 2) Emotional quotients (EQ), 3) Intelligence quotients (IQ), 4) Adversity quotients (AQ), 5) Moral quotients (MQ), and 6) Social quotients (SQ). 4. Leadership for educational development should be included two aspects: 1) instructional leadership and, 2) transformational leadership. 5. Professional virtues and code of ethics should be included five aspects: 1) Self code of ethics, 2) Professional code of ethics, 3) Code of ethics toward stakeholders, 4) Code of ethics toward co-workers and, 5) Code of ethics toward society.
